Automate your quotes and appointments
· by the Agence Web Premium team, Guéliz Marrakech
Direct answer: the majority of Moroccan VSEs waste between five and ten hours per week going back and forth on quotes and appointments. Two simple automations — instant quote and online calendar — eliminate most of this wasted time.
We have installed these devices at several customers and on our own site. Here's what it actually changes, and what it doesn't change.
Why do quotes take so long?
In short: Because the exchange takes place in several successive messages, often spread over several days, to collect information that the customer could have entered alone.
The usual scenario: the customer asks for a price, you ask for details, they respond the next day, you ask again, they respond two days later. Result: four days and eight messages for information that a form collects in two minutes.
Meanwhile, a competitor who posts an immediate estimate has already won the decision.
How does an automatic quote work?
In short: The visitor answers three to six questions and gets an immediate price range, with their contact details sent for refinement.
The main thing is to give a range, not a firm price. “Between 4,000 and 6,500 MAD depending on the options” protects your margin while answering the question that was blocking the customer.
OUR express quote tool works exactly like this: a few questions, an immediate estimate, then a WhatsApp discussion for the details.
Useful side effect: unqualified requests eliminate themselves. Whoever sees 4,000 MAD with a budget of 800 does not write to you, and you save this time.
Should you display your prices publicly?
In short: In the vast majority of cases, yes. The absence of price is the first reason for abandonment on a service site in Morocco.
The classic argument against — “this gives my price to competitors” — does not hold: your competitors already know your prices. Your customers don’t.
We display our own prices: 2,499, 5,400 and 9,000 MAD. Concrete result: the requests received are qualified, and the discussion begins on the need rather than the price.
Legitimate exceptions: highly variable projects and public contracts. Even then, a fork is preferable to silence.
Which appointment system to choose in Morocco?
In short: An online diary connected to your calendar, with confirmation and reminder by WhatsApp rather than by email.
The point often missed is recall. In Morocco, reminder emails are rarely read. A WhatsApp message the day before significantly reduces missed appointments.
Points to check:
- Synchronization with your real calendar, to avoid double reservations.
- Correct time zone — common error with foreign tools.
- Interface usable on mobile: almost all reservations are made there.
- Automatic WhatsApp reminder the day before.
What other automations are worth it?
In short: Abandoned cart reminder, post-service review request, and automatic invoice.
- Basket restart. On a store, a message two hours after abandonment recovers a notable share of lost sales.
- Request for advice. An automatic message a few days after the service, with direct link to your Google profile. This is the simplest lever for building a reputation.
- Automatic invoice. Issue and dispatch upon confirmed payment.
How much do these automations cost?
In short: From 0 to a few thousand dirhams depending on the level. Many free tools already cover the need for a small business.
The automatic quote can be a simple form page with a JavaScript calculation: single development cost, no subscription. This is what we favor.
For the diary, the free offers of booking tools cover the needs of a freelancer. The payment is justified from several collaborators or online payments.

Frequently asked questions
How much time can we really save?
Between five and ten hours per week for a small business that processes its quotes and appointments manually.
Should you display your prices on your site?
In the vast majority of cases yes. The absence of price is the first reason for abandonment on a service site in Morocco.
Is an automatic quote legally binding?
Not if it is presented as an estimate with a range and explicit mention of confirmation after exchange.
What meeting tool for Morocco?
A synchronized calendar with WhatsApp reminder rather than email: reminder emails are rarely read.
How much does a tailor-made automatic quote cost?
From 1,500 MAD in single development, without monthly subscription.
Does this reduce the number of requests?
The raw number decreases, the quality increases significantly. You lose out-of-budget requests, not customers.
Can we automate the Google review request?
Yes, by an automatic message a few days after the service with a direct link to the file.
Do these tools work on mobile?
They must: almost all reservations and quote requests come from mobile phones in Morocco.
